Refreshing Choc Mint Bliss Balls

Bliss balls are always an awesome way to incorporate omega 3's and nutrient dense ingredients while still feeling like you're eating something naughty and hitting the sweet spot!

Below is my amazing choc mint recipe, but caution using essential oil's in children (opt for essence/extract).

Chocolate Mint bliss balls


  1. Utensils: Processor & tablespoon

  2. 1/4 cup of cacao powder

  3. 12 drops of peppermint essential oil or 1 Tbsp peppermint extract

  4. 1 cup of shredded coconut

  5. 3/4 cup of almonds

  6. 3/4 cup of cashews

  7. Himalayan salt to taste

  8. 10 medijool dates

  9. 2 Tbsp chia seeds

  10. 4 Tbsp coconut oil


  1. Add almonds, cashews and coconut to the processor.

  2. Pull open the medijool dates and remove the pits. Place medijool dates into the processor

  3. Add chia seeds, coconut oil and cacao powder to the processor and blend on high for one minute.

  4. Add Himalayan salt and peppermint oil to taste (depending on how strong you’d like the flavour) and blend on high until flavour is mixed through the mixture.

  5. Add two tablespoons of mixture into washed hands and roll into bite size balls.
